Although the location is great; the rooms big and comfy; great showers; unbelievable breakfast; good bed; decorated lovely; the most outstanding aspect of this property are the proprietors, Stephen and Christine.  We felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door until checkout and we truly appreciated the steps that were taken to go above and beyond to make our stay perfect! We booked directly with the property and there we no issues.

My husband and I recently stayed with Steve and Chris in their beautiful B&B.  This B&B is home from home.  Steve and Chris were amazing hosts.  the accommodation is decorated beautifully, it’s style is shabby chic without the shabby.  The attention to detail is second to none, Chris has fabulous taste in decor, the rooms are simply beautiful and guests are made to feel at home.
Cleanliness is a priority for Steve and Chris.  Now for the breakfasts (very important).  Chris and Steve work extremely hard to ensure that everyone gets a wonderful breakfast.  Home cooked breakfast made to order.  Lots of variety, great choice.  The food was beautiful cooked and all farm fresh.  We had a fantastic stay and I would recommend it to everyone.  A great central location, staying with wonderful people.  We will definitely be back.

I had been to Tewkesbury twice.  Both times I stayed at Jessop House.  The best think of this house is its service. Christine and Steve are the wonderful persons I ever met.  Breakfast is simply awesome, simple and tasty.  Hygiene is given a great importance and the rooms were nice, clean and tidy.  Both of them were very helpful and are the best guide you for any information.
Thanks a lot Christine and Steve.

our first impression when my sister myself and my son arrived was wow……. the hospitality of our hosts, went beyond what we expected.  Stephen took our bags up to our room, we were early but they said we could use it, we decided to go to get something to eat.  They gave us a key and off we went.  On our return, we were showed to our room, it was spacious, very clean and so tastefully decorated, as was the whole B&B.  In the morning we chose our cooked breakfast, and helped ourselves to the array of juices, fruits and cereals.  Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to go back.
It is family friendly, our hosts could not do enough for us and my son David loved it.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel in 3 separate occasions so you can all imagine why I had returned for the second and third time to the same hotel, if not I will let you know, so the rooms are very tidy and clean, and the best thing i like about this place is that you cannot find 2 rooms identical, so you won’t get bored; the owners Steve…

This was a long awaited break after a tough year. We spent 4 nights at the Jessop in room 10 which we chose from looking at the website online. Each room is different and ours was certainly an excellent choice. Right from the moment we arrived Chris and Steve made us feel so very welcome and it felt that nothing… More

Tewkesbury is a favorite spot to stay of ours for exploring the West & the Midlands. This was the first time at the Jessop, a quick one nighter. I can’t say enough good things about the friendly owners. You can tell they’ve put a lot into this hotel & it really shows how much they care. Our bedroom was well… More

Chris and Steve have done a fantastic job in renovating the building and are wonderful, welcoming hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, the breakfasts were lovely – all fresh local produce (including home made bread) and nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone and will definitely return in the near future.

We stayed one night for a friend’s Ruby Wedding Party. After being severely delayed on our journey from London, the proprietors were very helpful in getting us parked, checked in and into a taxi in record time. Our charming room was spacious and well appointed, the proprietors friendly and very helpful and the breakfast excellent. We look forward to taking… More

Everyone from the Groom’s Mum to University friends of the Bride stayed with Chrissy and Steve at Jessop House. The rooms were superb, the building amazing and the atmosphere that they’ve created is really homely and very relaxed. We left feeling like we were leaving friends. The whole experience was easy and genuinely a pleasure. Don’t drop any love letters!!!

We stayed in the family room on the top floor of the hotel which was VERY spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was fab – plenty of choice. Chris and Steve were very welcoming. I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely return.

Spent a super weekend in Tewksbury attending a wedding and enjoying the area. Highly recommended hotel, lovely bright, well appointed room, lovely breakfast and both Chris and Steve made every effort to accommodate our awkward requirements whilst grappling with their own problems of technology and confused bookings. They even converted the lounge into a temporary bedroom to accommodate a guest… More

Gorgeous room and very comfy bed. We visited Tewkesbury for a family wedding and stayed here while the rest of the party stayed at the Hilton, we were so glad we chose to stay here instead. Family staying at the Hilton were very envious! In the heart of the beautiful village but with beautiful countryside full of sheep at the… More
